The clock is ticking

Everyone's already asking me when I'm leaving for college. I haven't started packing, or given notice at work. It's surreal to know that I'm leaving for college in just a few weeks, really, and am about to be torn asunder from every single one of my best friends and every single support construct I've collected throughout the years besides my own self.

I don't know whether to feel liberated or terrified.
